the Exhibition Open Day

Since 28th November, the temporary exhibition, „To Board!”, which took several months to arrange, has already been open to the public. Last Saturday, on 1st December we invited you to the Exhibition Open Day. The program included a number of attractions: the exhibition presentation provided by the curators, knights fighting and medieval drill shows, shots from the arquebus located at the CMM wharf, art workshops for children (e.g. painting the „Battle of Oliwa” picture). The interest in the Exhibition Open Day exceeded our expectations; the exhibition was visited by 950 people. Our cordial thanks to all of you who visited the museum. We hope that you had fun firing the virtual cannon, trying on the copies of ancient and medieval arms or watching specially prepared animations dedicated to naval battles.

In January, we shall begin museum lessons organized within the premises of „To Board!” exhibition. Detailed information will be presented at a later date.
